Terms of use

This site describes the Refugee Venture Fund and how to reach us. We keep it accurate, but the information here is general. It can change, and the detail of any particular decision is settled in writing with the people involved, not on this page.

Nothing on this site is an offer to invest, a promise of investment, or financial, legal or tax advice. Applying does not create any agreement between us. If we do invest, that is set out in a separate written agreement signed by both sides, and you should take your own advice before signing it.

You tell us about yourself and your business, and you confirm that what you tell us is true as far as you know. A person on our team reads every application. We do not charge entrepreneurs anything, at any stage. We are not able to invest in every business that meets our criteria, and meeting them does not entitle anyone to investment.

Telling someone about the fund does not make you our agent, employee or representative, and it does not commit you or us to anything. Please do not tell anyone that a referral makes investment more likely: every application is judged against the same criteria.

Telling us your availability is not a contract and does not commit you to any entrepreneur. You choose whether to take up anything we ask you about. Anything an entrepreneur tells you in that time is confidential to them.

This site is in English, Arabic, Ukrainian and Farsi. The translations are there to help you read it. If a translation says something different from the English, the English version is the one that applies.

We update these terms as the fund develops. The date at the top of this page tells you when they last changed.
